My very first character was a warrior, didn't liked it an quickly dumped it for my ele.

Just curious, why delete a character if you still had other character slots to make new ones in? Did you just hate monks so much you didn't want to see your monk appear in the startup screen?

I made a warrior as my first character in Dec 05. Got to the desert and decided I didn't like how I looked, and wanted to change my secondary profession (JUST before ascension!

- Noobs heh) Soo, created another warrior and played through all three campaigns and EotN with him and quit for about 2 years or so.

Decided to come back and get Legendary Survivor with a new "main", so I made my monk and the rest is history

No regrets, I think I was too new to the game back then to play any class to the maximum potential. I'm glad I could create a second main and do everything "properly" having learned my lessons with my warrior.

Yes, I regret that now just like most elly playrs do. The only way to play the Elly well is by abusing secondary professions with your energy pool, particularly E/Rt or E/Mo.

Monks, Mesmers and Necros do more damage than Ellys do now, yet ellys do monking + rit with Ether Renewal or Ether Prism much better with their energy.

Though I do like playing a support elly very much, I dont like that its the role that the elly plays best, while nuking is now better left to mesmer and necro heroes.
